Highest WHP made on a T3/T04e 50-trim or SC50?
I'm looking for some dyno plots of DOHC guys running either the Garrett T3/T04e 50-trim or a Precision SC50.
Who's made the most power on this "dinky" turbo?

I made 396 to wheels on a stock bottom B16 with a SC50 @ 15psi on C16. Sorry I don't have the dyno graph on me though.

what sizw hotside?
how ws the lag?
i have little bit more than this 1.8T VW motor, i just can't remember the link to the dyno
IMO i thk as far as t3t4's are cooncerned the 50 trim has the best compressor map
i thinkit is pretty comparable to a small gt30

i don't get it. 396 @ 15psi is good but C16 and i get confused. 15 psi should be pump gas unless you really didn't trust the tuner. whats the issue? a stock b16 block isn't worth lead in my opinion.

I used what my tuner suggested to use. The car isn't a daily driven, and I'd rather err on the side of being conservative.

Re: Highest WHP made on a T3/T04e 50-trim or SC50? (sohc_turd)
It would depend on how high you rev the motor (for the thrust bearings). Im too tired to look at the graphs, but I beleive you can spin the turbo faster at 9k rpm at 15psi than you do at 8krpm at 20psi.
As for that turbo, HT is being saturated by large turbos - everyone wants to claim the most hp per psi. Then when you see their dyno chart, and it looks like a graph showing HIV infection in Africa... (no platteau, nor any low/mid range).
