Default Hey Turrrbo experts... is this worth it?

I was looking on ebay at some turbo kits, and this one caught my eye....
for about $850 after shipping, it has everything, turbo, manifold, intercooler, heres what it says...

Short answer: NO! Anything from Stone Racing isn't worth a handful of monkey poo.

Long answer: Just search for "Stone Racing" or "SSAutochrome" and you'll learn more than you ever wanted to about the crap products they sell. Heed the warnings or you'll have to do it all over again anyway and then we'll flame you for it when you eventually whine about it.


Edit: You've been a member of H-T for over a year and you haven't seen the eleventy billion posts already made about them? What the hell is wrong with you? Are you blind or retarded or something?

yeah i think i am half retarted

does anybody else know where i can get a good quality turbo kit from?

yeah...good old performance triangle...fast, cheap, and reliable...pick the two you want.

could always do a junkyard build.. but it requires a little more knowledge

i want it to be less than 1500 for everything, and i want to be able to boost it to like 15psi on a sleeved block with aftermarket pistons and rods... plus you got any suggestions on the pistons and rods? ill probably have darton sleeves..

you are spending so much money on a nice engine, why not spend alil more for a nice kit? why half *** it? this is something i will never understand.
