gsr crank/eagle rods bearing size
im going to put my b18c1 bottom block back together. it is using the stock gsr crank, it just got back from the machine shop.
im going to use eagle rods arp bolts and acl bearings. the motor is going to be boosted for 350 whp is the goal, maybe turn up down the road. a reliable daily with some weekend auto x/drag events
question is. what bearing size do i run? ive look around in some threads. seems i can just use standard bearings?
woulf it be better to use oem bearings/acl race/acl duraglide?
also still deciding pistons(rs machine, weisco, cp, endyn, help with this?)
so which bearings do i get?
what are the pros and negatives for running oversized?
thanks in advance

Nobody can tell you what size you need. You will have to measure the bearing oil clearance. You can start with the old bearings (if they are in good condition) or ACL std to give you a baseline measurement then adjust accordingly.

With my gsr crank and eagle rods i wet with acl race std bearings, they are the same size as the oem greens.
Took it to my machine shop and he made sure everything was within spec. One rod had to be resized but it was also out of round.
