do a compression test and go from there.. if the compression is good and you dont burn oil and **** it will be all good.. i have about 105,000 on my motor and im running 10psi with no problems...

A question to add here. I am also planning on adding a modest amount of boost and I will be doing a compression test soon to check my numbers. If the compression test comes back with excellent numbers, would you assume that the rods and bearings are also in the same shape? Do the compression results and the health of these additional parts go hand in hand? My motor is a b18c1 with 146K on the clock, burns a small amount of oil every 3k and seems to be in very good shape for the mileage. I am shooting for 220-250whp. Replies are appreciated. Thanks.
