Default FIC injectors?

I have a jdm b16 and boosting it. I found some 525cc Injector clinic injectors for sale. I aiming for 300whp would those injectors be good for that amount of hp? and how are FIC injectors?

FIC is a helpful outfit but we had an odd experience with a corvette they were put in. car just cold not tune right. replaced them with the 60lb deka injectors and it tuned perfectly. dollar for dollar the deka injectors are really hard to beat. i've been seeing more and more cars over the past year pop up running these. cobras, vettes, hondas, dsm etc

hehe. Been running Siemen Deka injectors since 2003.. , and since the newer chargers and Mustangs came out in '05, Siemen dekas have been ruling them. The initial problem was that RC had cheaper "drop ins" that people were used to and weren't willing to adjust their fuel rails to fit them.. Now people are a bit more knowledgable and are willing to make adjusgments.

No, we like them, but honestly, you'll make 300whp.. and that's about it unless you really bump up fuel pressure. What most are saying is no matter what, go up a size to 660whp or so , and avoid the limits of what you have.

Ok thanks. Might just get some 750s or 880s. Will 1000cc be too much?

Well, that depends upon future goals or plans with the car. I like going slightly larger than Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC), but many people here like ID1000s even if its for 200whp, because they "flow so well", even for their needs.

For 300whp, 750 or 880s will do fine.. But you're about to be bombarded with the ID1000s posts in a few minutes.

how much are you wanting to spend? for $260 you can get a set of 4 650cc deka injectors from precision. that's a little more than buying raw injectors but precision does the milling on the top half so they fit the honda fuel rails. the extra $50 saves headaches.

I run the Bosch based 1150 FICs, LOOOOVE them. Had PTEs before, idled like ****. FIC idle at 15:1 with no lean popping whatsoever.

Not to mention they play very well at HIGH base pressures due to atomization and very robust cores
