Default Engine hesitates after shifting and stepping on the gas...???

I took my car out for a ride the other day and it was running good up until I started to notice the engine hesitating after shifting and stepping on the gas. It did not happen at all when I drove casually, however, it was very noticeable when I was driving it hard. I made a couple runs and it happened several times. Basically, during the run I shifted 1st to 2nd and slammed on the gas and no problem, then shifted 2nd to 3rd and slammed on the gas and there was a hesitation (or no response, or kinda bogged) so I took my foot off the gas and then slammed it again and it was fine, then shifted 3rd to 4th and same thing, finally shifted 4th to 5th and no problems.

What do you guys think it could be? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Setup is a fully built B16A2 head and B18C1 sleeved block, SC61 turbo, tuned on Neptune at 410whp.
