Default endyn crank case breather... oil catch can needed?

Whats up, first things first, here is my set up

b18c darton sleeved
81.5 cp 9.1's
crower rods
built type r head
goal 550+

I purchased an endyn crank case breather kit and i replaced my old valve cover that was vented with a stock one... and i was going to get ride of my valve cover breather kit... before i do that, do i need it? if im using a crank case breather is that enough? my old catch can set up just had 2 lines running from the stock breather and one extra going to a catch can that did not recycle. i am still not understanding the point of a valve cover breather kit, specially if it doesn't recycle like my old one, i would have to drain the oil every time i changed my oil 2000k miles and sometiems before that. now that i have a crank case breather, i would want to just leave out the valve cover one and just run a little filter over the stock breather. any issues that will arise from this??
