Coupler pops off even with t-bolt camps...
Ok, so first off I think the seals may have gone bad in the turbo because there is oil in my charge pipes. I have a -3an oil line without a restrictor and I think this is causing my coupler to pop off.
Its the coupler that comes off the compressor to the first pipe. And that coupler happens to be a reducer. The turbo outlet is 2" and the pipe is 2.5" and I think when I hit full boost around 5k or so too much oil is blow between the pipe and the coupler causing to to slip off.
Thats my opinion, does anybody else of a second opinion...because im think in either getting a v band or welding the dam thing...and im not gonna fix the seals for now so thats not an option.

You can try putting a bead of weld around the intercooler pipe where the coupler sits. Most times this helps prevent the coupler from slipping off...in addition to the clamp.

clean the oil off the coupler and the pipe with wd40...tighten it down with the wd40 on it and let it dry...it will get tacky and help hold better.

if i had to guess i'd say that right off of the turbo, you have a 90 degree bend correct? what 99% of people try to do is put a coupler right on the bend of a pipe, and it wont hold. you need to have some straight tubing for the coupler/clamp to hold onto, then begin the 90 degree bend.
if you dont have room for that....grab a cast 90 degree elbow and weld it to the compressor housing. oil or not, you should not have problems blowing off the pipes if the fabrication is done properly and the pipes are bead rolled or have a bead welded on them.

Well, actually there isnt any bend until the end of that pipe. This one is perfectly straight. I heard hair spray is also good to help the pipe stick to the coupler.

I have a 90 degree 2" to 2.5" reducer on mine and was having the same problem. The silicon shop I buy my stuff from recomended me spraying the outside ends of the intercooler piping with hairspray and putting in back together asap so in cures with the coupler on it. It worked for me, though my only complaint was taking the pipes back off were kind of hard. I found that using a belt (for pants) or oil filter wrench belt setup worked well to twist the pipe while holding the coupler straight. Also, there's tons of different types of hairspray out there, so I'm sure they have different "stickyness".
