Ultracoupe's PTE6262 B16/B18C1 Build-What power will it make?
My poor mans type r build (TURBO)
Gsr block
Weisco 9.86:1 rods standard bore
Eagle rods with all bearings and thrust washers replaced
Stock crank
Stock sleeves
b16 head
port and polish
Ferrea everything in the head
Rocketman Motorsports 22x cams and buddy club cam
gears
Victory X intake manifold
Skunk 2 70mm throttle body
ID1000 injectors
Ramhorn turbo manifold
6266 turbo
what kinda power numbers can I expect? Also asking this question to help determine which clutch to get I want something comfortable for daily driving I have narrowed it down to a competition clutch that's single disk or a stage 4 competition clutch.

thats a big turbo for 400. A 6266 can make over 750. 1000cc injectors can support high 600s with gasoline based fuels and 400ish with ethanol. If you plan on making over 500 I would get a twin disk. Less than that a cc stage 4 or 5.

Unfortunately, for 400whp, you chose something entirely too large for your displacement and purpose At boost pressures between 8-17psi, on the 6262 similar builds with smaller turbochargers (52lbsmin-60lbs/min) will make more torque and usable powerband than you will.

I have seen 1000whp on a 6266 so 400 or 500 is nothing. 1000cc ID's will make over 500WHP easily on ethanol . I personally think you should use a comp twin disk which will last a long long time and is very easy to street drive with.

I don't mean to be rude, but this has been searchable for years. The turbo has the capability of over 720whp to as much as close to 800whp (depending on the dyno calibration,) and is only limited b the fuel used and and boost pressure used.

1000whp on a 6266 is possible, but what AZ_Civic is looking at is where its past the point of efficiency and flexing the compressor wheel itself. It's a dyno number, and not at all of any good use as a practical matter. I'm not saying it couldn't have been made, but it was already being pushed way past any reliable practical point. Just because something can be done, doesn't make it a good idea.
