Default Is it possible to use an obd 1 harness with an Obd 2 ecu with a jumper harness?

So I bought a car with a d16y8 swap, but the previous owner modded the harness to work with the stock p05 ecu. Would it be possible to keep using the harness and hook up a p2p ecu for a stock d16y8, or do I need a whole new harness?

As long as your pin out matches, it will work. However, to build your own harness to fix any discrepancies is a different story . You can contact Rywire to see if they'll build you a custom jumper or you can build it yourself, but in order to do this, you WILL have to identify whatever the pin out that currently exists is. Check FF Squad's Technet for a pinout of the different ECUs and just make sure they line up.
