Datalogging Real Time Neptune with Nokia Cable
Has anyone figured out how to get Neptune to datalog with a Nokia cable? I spent about 3 hours last night playing with settings and nothing worked. I ended up finishing the guys tune in crome. Everytime I hit datalog in Neptune it connects right away and displays all the correct information in the box and even highlights the right cell for RPM/mBar but it just disconnects right away. Connect, disconnect. Connect, disconnect. Im sure it has to do with my settings. Im guessing my drivers are right because it does work in Crome Pro and on Crome Gold maps. I will be ordering a HuLog today to simplify this problem but if its possible to get these cables to work with Neptune then I can supply them to customers who want to have the fast and furious laptop going in there car while they drive.
Thanks

just install a button on the steering wheel that slaps them in the face, eventually they won't care about datalogging. Anyway, Neptune doesn't recognize the nokia cable, tell them to pony up and buy a damn hulog for 30 bucks.

Well I thought there the same as the xeoncron ones? I have one of those and it also does the same thing. Like I said it works for a second, displaying correct data. then it just disconnects. Does this over and over when I hit connect. If I load crome up it connects no problem.

Works fine. Anyone who has a problem I suggest uninstalling your drivers then reinstalling. Mine might have been out of date. After a driver update and ostrich reset everything now connects instantly with no problems and very precise values. All settings should remain the same as default in the drivers settings except for latency, that needs to be set to 1 for real-time data.
