Default Re: Valve to piston clearance

You should clay the motor to get a truly accurate valve-to-piston gap. But if you want to be safe then I guess a triple layer. The question seems weird to me, ive never read anyone asking piston to valve clearance ask which head gasket to use.It should go without saying, a single layer gasket will leave the pistons closer to the valve and a triple layer will give you a couple MM's more clearance.

Off topic question but what valve springs are you going to run with your cams? What is the max lift on those cams?
