B-series valve recommendations
Hey everyone,
I need to replace the stock valves in my GSR head. I'm looking for supplier recommendations - who's valves have the best value? This is a daily, so they need to last, no recommendations for "Drag only" valves that are only designed to last a few hours at most. I had a bad experience with Supertech valves back in my ITR EG hatch. Those things pitted and failed in less than 10,000 street miles. I'm looking for valves that will last 200,000+. This is a stock motor.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: B-series valve recommendations
So buy some OEM ones from Honda. I used PEP valves in my last engine with no issues on my daily driven turbo b16. I got them from comp motorsports they are a good value, and can take a beating. PEP Stainless Steel Valve Set B16A/B18C - CI Motorsports

Re: B-series valve recommendations
Because OEM valves are $500+. I will use them only as a last resort, trying to save some money as we all know that OEMs price-gouge on their parts.
Thanks for the recommendation on the PEP valves. I hadn't heard of them before. How many miles did you put on them?

Re: B-series valve recommendations
I live in a small town so only about 10,000 in 4 years. They were hard miles though. PEP does alot of v8 stuff. When I pulled the engine apart to use internal components for a new engine ( which I didn't end up using) they were still really clean and the sealing surface was not pitted at all.
