Re: wheelie bars???
Here's mine
Just make sure uppers and lowers tie into the main hoop. As straight of a shot as possible from the wheels to the main hoop on the uppers.

Re: wheelie bars???
Thanks for the help guys, just installed these last nite for a customer. I let him take it and forgot to take pics of the bottom mounts, I just welded some tabs to some 2.5"x2.5"x.250 angle, and welded those against the bracket that holds the lower control arms (super strong). Let me know what you think.

Re: wheelie bars???
I spy a NOS bottle in the car, what's the back window say ?
You might want to use ny-loc nuts and the bolts. Looks good, how long is it ? I believe it can't be longer 72".
I think I'd put a cross brace about 4-6" in front of the two wheels, or something like the second picture in post #3
There are also orange wheels that are much harder, if the car is going to be using the bar a lot.

Re: wheelie bars???
this is actually a morrison universal kit, they are about 65" long (if i remember correct?), we are going to replace the bolts with chrome pins, the kit did not supply us with the heims or pins, or the endlinks. I am thinking I may make some wheelie bar kits specifically made for EF, EG, EK's...we'll see. I didn't add anymore cross bracing to it because the customer was worried about it getting snagged on the parachute (coming soon).

Re: wheelie bars???
i belive the rule states the wheelie bars cannot be more than 65 " off the rear bumper(meaning to the furthest rear ward point, which would be the wheel)

Yep. And also the front halo for his roll cage, and he is ordering up one of my intake manifolds. Thats my kind of customer :-)
The overall length was somewhere in the neigborhood of 65", probably only 4' or less was extended past the bumper, he shouldn't have any problems.
