so i got caught street racing put on probation for 3 years 2000 to get my car from impound 1700 dollar speeding ticket 5 days of community work program and 650 cause my car couldn't pass smog. plus license got REVOKED! paying the tickets but was wondering if i payed the smog ticket will i still have to go to CA state smog ref before registering my car again? any input will be helpful... thanks

Ouch...California is know if cracking down on street racing and will go out of there way to make an example of an individual caught. You may still be required to go to a Ref station, but would recommend going to the DMV to see what they say needs to be done.

well i have another car so i dont really want to go to the dmv and go thru all the BS i was just wondering if anyone else has done it cause i heard from one guy that you can go to the ref and get out of the fine or you can just pay it but idk if thats true. thanks for the reply

i got a ticket in ca a while back for illegal smog device is what my ticket said i paid the ticket and never went to the state ref and registered my car like regular BUT i did have to do a TEST ONLY from there on

why are you worrying about smog if your license got revoked? and California is GAY! I used to be stationed there, nothing but harrassment and profiling from the police, move to a better state. lol.

I flew Out to California a few months back to tune some srt4's. I don't see how so many major aftermarket companies come from there. It's just crazy strict. I wouldnt ever live there.

i remember watching some video on youtube and there were 3 hondas a eg6,em1 & i forgot the other honda lol,the owners were street racing and got caught by the police and the end result was there cars were crushed they even ripped out the motor, one of the cars had a h22 in it,this was all in california also saw a brand new 2011 lexus isf get crushed as well SMH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
