My SWFD/SSPA EG build
I've wanted to post one of these build threads for awhile now, been so busy till now. I've been on here for awhile now so I thought I'd chime in with my own build thread. So here goes...
Exterior
TYC black housing headlights
Carbon trunk
Carbon Roof
Carbon Spoon-style wing
17" GP Racing wheels for 12" Wilwood brake clearance (Street)
15" 0-offset Sportmax wheels for 11" Wilwood brakes for 26" slick clearance
Interior
Skunk2 shift ****
JDM Recaro seats
Racepak IQ3 cluster with AEM EMS integration
Custom 6-point roll cage
Suspension/Support
PIC coilovers (10/8 adjustable dampeners)
ASR lower subframe brace
ASR 24mm sway bar
Beaks lower tie bar
Skunk2 lower control arms and camber arms (front and back)
Megan rear toe adjusters
Carbing front upper strut brace with brake booster support
Avid traction bar system
Brakes
Wilwood 12" 4-piston front brakes for street and circuit track
Wilwood 11" 4-piston front brakes for drag racing
NSX rear calipers on 11.1" vented rotors for rear brakes
1" master cylinder
Engine & Transmission
Dart block 81.5mm stock b18a stroke
Wiseco flat-top pistons
K1 h-beam connecting rods
Stock LS crank
Cometic head gasket
ARP head studs
Stock b16a cylinder head
Stock valves
Skunk2 valve spring and retainers
Skunk2 Tuner stage 2 cams and gears
JG intake (8 60lbs injectors)
Full-blown dual walbro fuel pump system (an-10 feed and an-8 return)
Lovefab top-mount manifold
Tial 44mm wastegate
Garrett T04R ball-bearing turbo (T3/67-1)
Precision 750-hp intercooler
Tial 50mm BOV
Edlelbrock 75mm throttle body
AEM EMS
Mallory 6AL ignition system
Nology external ignitor
MSD HVC II ignition coil
OEM gutted distributor
T1 cam trigger
Stock B16 transmission with a Quaiffe LSD
Stock driveshafts
To date the dyno numbers are 652whp on a Dynapack at 22psi with a small creep to 24psi. AEM EMS tuned by Tony at Dynamotorsports.ca. This tune was done on Mark V Pro Fuel unleaded race gas with an open downpipe. This yielded a best personal time of 10.6 @ 135 mph weighing in at 2450lbs, this was my third time at the track with the car since we put it together which we started only a month before.

Plans for 2010: To be the first import in Canada to run a 9-second pass with a T3 exhaust housing. Possibly swap out connecting rods and maybe a port job on the head. Also, work out the stock driveshaft issue (they don't like to last long, looking into DSS 5.9's). And finally paint the exterior of the car.
Would also like to thank everyone that helped me with this build; Tony @ Dynamotorsports.ca, Bruno @ Evolution, John Dimsum @ ABM Auto Centre, Graham @ Canadian Cylinder Head, Tito @ Evolution, Blinky, Flowers for welding, Mark @ Universal Spinners,Tony Gino ssc, Mfactory, Full-blown Motorsports, Tony Palo @ T1 Race Development, Cody @ Lovefab, Aaron @ Full-race, the wife for putting up with me during the build and Tim Hortons for all the late night coffees!
Anyone that I am forgetting, I’m sorry, but thank you!
