Been watching this build for a while. Just sub'd to it.
Have a few questions, you mentioned its running mostly stock parts. What about cams? How does the stock bottom end (in general) hold up and how many runs/how much boost does it handle before something breaks? I too run a mostly stock j-series on a street daily at around 18lbs running e85 and water injection. I'm always telling people about the supreme reliability you can carry on these motors with the right tune and fuel and they're just now really starting to pop up everywhere like this (though not quite at your level of power).
Again, love the car and it's originality. Good to see someone out there flexing for the j-series!

all that is done is rods,headstuds,valvesprings/retaners. and my small touches i cant just give away. its been great for 25ish maybe more idk,its been in the car since may just had bearings off look great.makes about 1050 at the crank im about to try 1250 before seasons end for my goals of 8.5 we will see how it goes. i have been on 30psi on 2 35rs for this whole time. only time i broke **** cam and crank sensors were wired backwards via haltech instruction once i corrected it its been great.

If so, that's a testament to most of whom I see over on the Acurazine forum that feel like it's the pistons themselves that cause the engine to fail when these engines are pushed on boost. Assumingly because the ringlands or skirts are the first to show damage when detonation occurs from other problems.
Again man, love the car and appreciate you sharing what you have so far with everyone. Anxious to see more improvement on both et's and the car!

you can figure horsepower form trap speed and weight. so 152 and 2900lbs = 1050 crank with 25% loss threw an auto 788 wheel. the stock pistons are fine.i dont push it hard on the dyno no point since dynos dont read right with an auto car. Acurazine is a joke mostly btw if i went off anything i read there i wouldnt be where i am today.
