Re: my 09 SFWD "OUTLAW" build!!
well got word my front end didnt ship, RRRR guess he forgot or who knows. supposedly he shipped yesterday guess i will find out fri or mon.
here is what i got done last week. not much.
my buddy should have the spoiler's back 2 me this fri.
making 2 diff ones to see witch one looks better.
the pic is of the first idea. only thing missing is the 3/8 lip on the long run across the top angling down for support. add that in fabing.
the 2nd spoiler is of the same across the top but the sides will have 2 angels 52dgree then a straight down still stoping above the tail light. can get both off of this template. see what happens. seems kinda big but oh well. what u think? i aint no expert so...

Re: my 09 SFWD "OUTLAW" build!!
well the front end just arrived in the afternoon today. finally after almost 2 months.
but i must say the fitment is deff on. though i did ask for a few mods to it so i guess it aint that bad of timing.
only took about 1 hour 2 have it on the car fitted up by myself. awesome product from JOJO.
very easy unlike the last one i had took almost a whole day . cause of all the cutting.
only had time to put it together & fit it up on the car. its not bolted to the car cause im doing something diff. stay tuned.
used a jack to hold it up while i fitted it together & attached it. (pain in the *** solo)
together
nice seams, should only have some rounding to do on the seams & it will be good
gangster

looking tough ! what is that you mocked the wing out of ? poster board ?
i have a question about your cage. does it go through the dash or sit in front of it ?

Re: my 09 SFWD "OUTLAW" build!!
its corrigated sign board. got if from my buddys shop but its a pain 2 cut at an angle cause its like pvc board. (used a cut wheel) lol
as far a the cage it pisses me off. it was a 8point at first so the plates were under the dash toards the driver. & i didnt want to cut them out or add more plate. so yes they go right through where the vent on top is but i still made the dash removable. not that it is done i wish i would have moved or added plates to get it all the way forward so i didnt have 2 cut the dash so much on pass side. (lessons learned.)
as for the spoiler. decided we are going to use my partners cnc to cut the wing so we can give it some extra style, lol gunna take a little longer though.

its mechanical. didn't feel like adding more wires & button & regulators to the car. adds up. mechanical is just as easy & no electric issues

Re: my 09 SFWD "OUTLAW" build!!
well started working on the car again after a few months off due to having to work on my yard.
well decided to cut eh car up once again. (damnet its the last time) added some bars going up to the shock towers to give the car a little more stiffness to aid the the shock & to support the effects of wheelie bars.. welded up the motor mounts & added some braces. got the spoiler finished. decided not to round it over the edges like everyone else & let it fall into the trunk line. its more like a F-body look.
also made the doors quick release so its easier to work on the car.
motor will be back first week of october. so ill update some more then.

its still up in the air. waiting to see what the exospeed spindle setup looks like when its done. & im also pondering of building my own rear arm setup so the outlaw peepz dont cry. figure if the SRT cars can have custom arms up front why cant we in the rear, right.

Looking good man, bump for a local.
I remember when you came out to the Boca Mcdonalds meet. Old setup was a beast, cant wait to see this done.

Does your bumper have any dzus fastners? it looks like it just bolts from the top and the sides. Are you not worried about having to take off the front bumper quickly?

Re: my 09 SFWD "OUTLAW" build!!
correct PBIR is only 3 miles from the house so NSCRA is my best bet. but i still want to do some onther outlaw races. but they need to get the rules a little more to the "outlaw" side & not the street.
but ill have both sets of rear suspension for both races

Re: my 09 SFWD "OUTLAW" build!!
well got everything back from powder coating & damn its getting up their $$. but it looks awesome the pics don't do it justice. decided to go ahead & get the cross member done as well as the traction bars cause it just didnt look right. now i got me an "outlaw" front end kit. also got the shut bracket & spoiler braces done up.
besides that got the carbon spoiler back & got my new rear brakes thank to RICH G. ( i always knew u were a nice guy) lol. will fit them up on the car after this next NSCRA event.
