The nuformz setup is acutally Lamb and strange components... the spindle is intergrated into the strut... so you would have to somehow mount a new strut to your solid axle...
anything is possible if work is put into it...

That is a strange spindle with a lamb strut. The kit is sold by Nuformz, not a MMR (MB products) full race.

Re: mmr rear/spindle wheel???? (allmotor92civic)
I run the MB (mmr) set up on my car, it actually is similar to a spindle mount in design where the hub actually is a plate which bolts onto the QA-1 shock, then there are chromoly arms which bolt on the stock mounting locations. it's a nice setup and worked pretty good for me. what is nice is you can run reg. wheels or bogarts not $350 a piece spindle mount wheels. I am actually selling my set up fromlast year if anyone is interested($2,000, regularly $3200) I am custom making something else. My stupid brain keeps writing checks my wallet can't cash.

hey sav,
can you tell me more about your penske setup? what's the advantages? would a japanese shock w/ remote reservoir adj. rebound & compression be comparable?

Re: mmr rear/spindle wheel???? (SEFI8LOxCivic)
the advantage of the penske shocks is the tunability at the track. Penske did alot of research on these shocks strictly for drag racing so the adjustment range is for launching and weight transfer. A japanese shock w/ remote reservoir would work well but those shocks are more than likely designed for road racing.

thanks for the info sav, i think im just gonna stick with my new weld wheels instead of getting spindle mount. it was just an idea i had to try to squeeze a little more weight off the car
