And safety **** question, does the oil pan hang below the bottom of the wheel? If you cut a slick will the oil pan hit the ground before the wheel? Are there rules in your class for things like that?

Anyway looks good! I am putting a K24 in my Insight and thought that was going to be a tight fit.
Everything picture suspension wise, hub, lower control arm ect is stock oem insight stuff. Im actually fabbing up lower control arm for the ball joint reason. The picture of the oil pan doesnt do the actual height justice the angle messes with it. Its actually 4.5 to 5 inches off the ground. And the wheel would hit before oil pan if slick blew out.

Loving the build so far!

Are you going to have the headers exit out of the hood?

Thank you. I wanted to keep it clean and not come out the hood, but I am limited for room so I honestly think its the only option. I wanted them to merge then have it exit out the fender but it doesnt have the space I NEED to do other things.

Thank you I appreciate it. The car is pretty much all aluminum. That was one of the biggest challenges getting the motor in there. Curb weight is 1856.

Both tacked up. Final adjustments on runner length and then, I'll post finished product.

A little more adjustments needed. But heres a rough draft

My buddy had the collectors sitting in his garage so I grabbed them up. But I had already ordered the 90s and we need some stuff mocked up to keep moving forward with the project. No benefit if thats the question.

Thank you so much its appreciated. Dog Box is the goal. Right now TB motor worx is still on a stock j series trans with a 3.8 final drive and so far hes going 9.7s @144. Stock J transmission can handle alot of abuse. Evans tuning as well had stock j series trans and didnt have any issues.

Agree. The stock transmission is great. But inlinePro is releasing a J2K kit. So once that is done, you can do a K series dog box. As far as I know there is no J series dog box options unless you have a company custom make them, which would be super expensive Im sure. So a K series adapter option would be an amazing door opener for us.
