Honestly, why has PPG made a gear box? because ppl were looking for a gear box that can hold the power right? was anybody shooting them down?

Now Mike has come up with an axle that can hold the power that some west coast SFWD car put out, And for a cheaper price.

Everything breaks in these cars, even DSS has had their moments just like Liberty has had theirs.

its just funny to me how all of you guys keep coming on this thread...youre all from california. and you all swear by these axles. this thread is like 4 pages long and not yet has anyone mentioned other than garcia even the hint of a car making decent horsepower and using these axles with success. im sorry and maybe he doesnt advertise. but 600 dollars is alot of money to throw out to test his product. what he needs to do. is front a set of them to a guy whos actually making a good number and see what comes out of it. and i use stock axles and 26'' MTs for my 1k street races. i duno about you all.

It's like a WEST COAST and east coast TYPE of thing???

Us on the WEST that USE these axles STAND by INSANE SHAFTS, GOOD or BAD...

Now on the east YOU peeps NO NAMES posted STAND by DSS, GOOD or BAD...

If you wanna be different and be using some WEST COAST parts on the east coast have at it...

I feel that PEEPS on the WEST COAST, INSANE SHAFTS are easy for everyone to get a hold of...
and east coast peeps will get what is easy to get a hold of as well in there area does that MAKE any sense...

Mike offered us a set to run on our crx, but we were already having so many other problems I didn't take him up on them. Were working on getting her back together, so maybe when we'll throw a set in when we do. I'll be sure to let everyone know how they work out for us. Mikes a good guy and tries hard to put out a good product.

I will be picking up a set for my outlaw/sfwd setup that should be done in a month or so. First testing will be with 24.5's and then if the tranny and other things hold up we will try for 26's.

This car should put down decent power and even push the limits of these axles. But I do know for sure that these axles are in some 700+ cars out here!

honestly paying almost 600 is better than paying 1500! plus he is local and is at every local track with spares just in case so that maybe you can make the next round!

DSS are great no one can complain.

honestly no one can say that DSS are superior to all!

Ryan, I am glad you can afford those mark williams axles or whoever there made by.
But be honest, are there for the every day build?
Are there relatively cheaper than their competitors?

For under 600 and replacement with no questions why not atleast try them out right? especially if your local. give me a few weeks and I will hopefully have a few hits on them with hopefully more than 800hp.

ive run these axles for years in my street car with over 400whp. there insane cv's there made by transpower technologies which is a cv rebuilding company and they have many yeas under tehri belt with building cv axles. its a 300m shaft and inner/outter joints are oversized with ball/cage design. much larger than stock joints but like stated you are still running stock sized splines so your goign to be limited there as with bigger power is whe you need to step it up to larger splined units like those made by DSS

Yeah dave's got them sick nitro joints LOL Dave you Baller

I got a good laugh from this post

I met mike out in Cali, seems like a very nice person. Thought it was pretty cool that he was at the event as well.
