Default ID2000 @ 100psi base?

Can the ID2000 run at a 100psi base with a Walbro 255lph inline bosch 044. What power output with e85? I know the pumps will probably be the limiting factor...Looking to see what I can squeeze as i'm about at max IDC with the id1000

I saw that but it doesn't show any info on the ID2000 at 100psi base...

looks like 550-600 is max with the pump setup you have.

A Walbro 255 falls on it's face after 70 psi. You'll need a big Weldon, a few 044's, or a mechanical pump to run 2000cc injectors at 100 psi base and not run out of pump.

Those injectors at that pressure will have a flow capacity of approx. 12,000cc/min or 1140 lb/hr.
Ideally, your pump should flow 15-20% more than that, at the pressure you're going to be running.

with the 2,000's you can make 1000whp @ 43psi base fuel pressure.

Nice info from scott posted above . . . It also says in the notes section of that table :

The ID 2000s are capable of more at higher pressure but none of the above pump combos will keep up with the injectors at that point . .

Scott pretty much summed it up.

As shown in the above graph, the walbro/044 combo at 100psi with the ID1000's, the 'limiting factor' is the pumps. Therefore, putting bigger injectors doesn't gain you anything, you're out of fuel pump. It will take a lot of pump to supply the ID2000's at 100psi.

Dual walbros doubles the flow capability of a single walbro, but does nothing for the pressure capability, assuming they're run in parallel. Walbro pumps will never be a good option for something requiring over 75-80psi fuel pressure. That's total pressure, not base pressure.

for gits and shiggles, I looked it up.
at 100 psi, a Walbro 255 will flow about 180 - 200 lb/hr

ASSuming we pick the strongest pumps in the box

1140 / 200 = 5.7 Walbro 255's

To have any extra, you'd need 7 pumps, and 100psi is still your max pressure, not base.

Haha, sweet! The good news is that there are plenty of high output alternators available in the car audio market!

How do you make a mechanical pump work on a b series?

Unless you go pro none of the Outlaw or SFWD type classes allow it.

Any pump capable of supplying the pressure and volume.

On my car, with the ID2000's at 3 bar base fuel pressure and a Weldon 2345 pump, i'm seeing a max of 82% duty cycle. Not sure how much power that is, but it's over 1000whp. That's on C23. Max linear duty cycle on the ID2000 at 3 bar is around 92%.

NSCRA doesn't have a rule that says u cant. I asked John about it last year & he said he doesn't see a problem with them. there is no power gain with them just reliability.
kinda like the long threads about the EWP, lol

big $$ motors & safety at mind.

sorry to go off topic.
