Trackbite from the part store and mek. Play with the mixture until it's right.

Someone educate me please. So you just slather this stuff on your tires and it makes them stickier?

Coca Cola syrup like what is used in the fountain drink machines is used all over the place as a VHT substitute.

I think the Pimp Juice stuff that was brought up is no longer sold because the guy who made it committed suicide a while back. I could be wrong, but it may have been the dude that was on that Street Outlaw show that had the El Camino. I think his name was Tyler or something like that.

pimp juice is still made and sold. however you need to pick it up in person as they did not go thru the process of getting an MSDS to ship the fluid through the mail. I have 2 gallons sitting here in front of me now.

The compound will need to be played with in order to get what you want out of it. some people add trans fluid to keep the tire from drying out, MEK will in fact dry the tire out and kill it off early. but it makes it hook for sure.

try a 90/10 vht/mek and go from there.

old school right there.

Guys used to do it in street tire classes...the old uniroyal tiger paw/wd40/saran wrap trick.

We treat our slicks before every race starting 7 days before using our big oven for our carbon fiber cars/parts.

Possibly explain the wd40/seran trick? Would you simply spray a decent coat of wd-40 on the tire while rolling it perhaps and wrap it in a layer of seran to hold it there wet? Stored in a cool basement.. hot shed..?

My slicks are brand new never used or heated yet, never thought about giving them any sort of treatments

You got it.

The saran wrap is there to hold the wd-40 in place.

The guys I know who ran street tire classes would wrap them overnight. So they were probably covered 8-10 hours. I think it was a diminishing returns thing, you could leave it on there longer but it didn't do much better than the initial period.
