And I've always been afraid of consistency with pump ethanol. Our local pump is never the same.
Thanks man. Good to see another single cam guy. How many pounds of boost are you running and what size turbo?

PTE 6262. 618hp@32psi. Had no timing in it. But on the pull before that, it cracked the block, we didnt catch it until this pull. so we stopped there.

13*peak ve. Looks like cyl pressure trying to lift the head, but started pulling the block apart. It cracked the front from the coolant drain plug on the front of the block up to a head stud. Same thing happened to speedfactory. thats when James built that crazy brace. I just drilled each end of the crack, ground it out a bit and welded it. Never had an issue after that.

Do you know if they sell that brace or was it a one-off for his car?

It was a one off as far as I know. But I would suggest pulling the drain plug from the front of the block, and weld in an aluminum plug. It solved the problem. Both my self and SF did that one after we cracked em. neither have had any problems since.

I keep hearing about this FTW stuff but short of it having Nitro in it I can't see how it would make any more power than the E99 I run right now. I would be more than willing to try it if it was readily available.

First I have really heard of this Shell URT. Is this something they will put at select stations or do you have to special order this?

Also, which one works best 100, 105, or the Advanced?

If 500-550 is your goal, E85 will work. I have a D2B as well, Mine is 505whp/349trq @25psi on a 5857SP .63ar. Stock sleeve w/ wiseco/eagle, bisi 3.6 cam, stock port head. As for your set e.t, it will come down to driver experiences. I ran my best pb of 10.52@135 with 457whp.

Since this is a discussion about fuel, my question was geared towards fuel, and something I am unfamiliar with, I feel I can ask on a message board for an answer.

How does it compare to c16? Cost compared to c16 as well as power.
