East Texas Street Kings Race on Sunday October 19
Just wondering if anyone off of here is gonna be out there this sunday. Race is located at Hallsville raceway just outside of Longview Texas. Here is a link to the event. http://www.oldwestracing.com/i...k.htm
Its not gonna be a real big event but it would be nice to see some of you out there that are from the texas area. Hope to see you out there.

Dont forget the helmet!!! Just heard that they changed the rules they are/were running under. 11.99 now requires a cage. Used to be 11.49. This is what I heard. If its ture, sucks for some of us!! Not fact yet. Lookin forward to meeting you guys.

damn hallsville used to be the place to go last winter. I hope they didn't change the cage rule to 11.99 i was planning on going out there when im done w/ my new set up.

I figured they had a cage rule. Im still gonna go out there and have a blast. I know my car has 11s in it I just have to turn the boost up. Im looking forward to sunday so I can go out there and meet everyone and have a good time.

The NHRA rule of 11.99 and IHRA rule of 11.49 will not be enforced heavily. All that I ask is that you keep control of your vehicle. If you get out of the groove then get off the gas!!
As I have stated to B18CX, PLEASE bring a helmet if your car runs 13.99 and faster. I will be teching(sp) in cars all day and that is one thing that I will be looking for.
The gates open at 8:00AM. I will be there between 7:30-8:00AM to help set-up cars and help you guys find pit areas where your group can park together. There has been alot of inquiries about this little event so hopefully there will be a good turnout.
If you guys have any questions at the track, please find me. BTW, my name is Nars and I should have a red Anaheim Angels cap on roaming the staging lanes.
P.S. Hallsville is in the middle of a forest. The air is usually good when we run. I hope to see several of you there!!

all my friends who ran out there last year would run 1/10th faster then @ ennis. it must be because of the location!! lots of oxygen in the air! thats awesome
