Default does rim size matter when selecting slick size ?

does the size of your rim matter in the selction of slick size ? i see most people run a 13" rim . i have a 4x114 suspension on my integra and the smallest size i can fit would be a 15" rim . im most likely gonna run a 25" slick . would i have less traction then a 13" rim because i have a 15" rim ?

no you trap speed will change according to the size of you tire height and if you can find a good 15 inch slick you are good to go but the reason for the small wheel is the sidewall of the slick so you can drop pressure and get better traction

Is there such a thing as a 25" tall slick in 13" rim size? We ran in the 9's with a 22 tall on a 13"

Hi JonnyDanger; The 25's take a 13" wheel and the rim size take a 8" unless their is a 25" tall in a 15" wheel, and yes you will have more tracktion with a 13" ver's a 15"
