Too much power can actually be a hindrance when it comes to hooking up a small tire or the prop of a drag boat. For anyone with this “problem” the Programmable Launch Limiter is the answer. This microprocessor controlled Limiter plugs in place of an rpm module in an MSD Ignition or Soft Touch unit. You can then go in and program a launch-based rpm ramp based on rpm and time. This is set in 100 rpm steps down to 0.001-second increments by using MSD’s Pro-Data+ software on a PC or with the optional Hand Held Monitor, PN 7550. There is also an adjustment that sets a delay time before the rpm limit activates. This way, when you launch the rpm limit will kick in exactly when you want it to and ramp up to your race rpm for the rest of the run. This Limiter can be used with most of MSD’s Ignitions or Rev Controls (except the 7AL-3 and 10-Plus) that use the plug-in rpm modules. The Pro-Data+ software is supplied.

I'm trying to build funds for the new transmission that's coming my way in a couple of months. I will not accept low ***** cause this would make a great spare tranny for me or another toy.

Option 1: This is a GSR transmission, with an LS final Drive currently. It also has a Quaife in it. If you buy the tranny I have a GSR FD for a small fee that can go with it if you wanted to get a GSR/type R Diff for it later. The synchronizers, factory hubs, and factory sliders and locking rings on the gears and shafts have been removed and replaced, by LIBERTY, with a Dog Engagement(Face Plating) system. This is by far the best investment I have ever made to my race car. Since the switch, missing a gear has been a thing of the past. It will engage the gear every time, no bullshit brass to wear out, or break. the center hubs are made from chromoly steel as well as the sliders. This is the best thing for any drag car where banging gears is a constant thing...whether its all motor or Forced induction. If you bust a gear, you find a replacement like normal, and then send it to liberty, they will modify it, and ship it back for $80. That's not bad at all and a great bang for the buck for someone that wants a consistent shift EVERY TIME. The 5th gear has been replaced with a billet aluminum hand cuff that braces the shafts together. I will include the GSR 5th gear. 1-2 gears are used street gears and 3-4 are brand new but all have only had 6 full hits at 2 events on them and NO Dyno Time. This can be ran on the street, it takes some getting used to and its kinda loud on engagement and you have to rev match to down shift on the street. Feel free to call with questions IF you are an interested buyer...and believe me I can tell the difference.

Option 2: You can buy the shafts with all of the gears and hardware on them(pictured below) and insert them right into your transmission (you can pick which countershaft you want (ls 4.2 or gsr 4.4) and that is that.

look i need to move this thing, it just sits in my trailer, and i need cash, little cisco will be here in less than 4 weeks.
94 civic coupe, old moroso civic, the car would make someone a great bracket car.
the main issue is the firwall was replaced with a sheet of steel.
the car does have a onepiece front end, steel cage, gutted interior, rear section cut out and replaced, wilwood masters for brakes and clutch, also has wilwood gas pedal
car went a best of 9.80, best 60 1.49, best mph 162. like i said the car is heavy.
all the aftermarket front suspension has been removed and stock stuff has been put in to roll around, the straight axle is still in it and will come with the car. also comes with a custom gas tank and motor mounts, skunk 2 shifter and modified linkage
