The new power plant aka the UNICORN. What is it? Basically a destroked version of the H22 that will allow us to take advantage of a 35mm intake valve above 10,000 RPM. Destroker rods, Outlaw spec pistons, and the words best machine work from 4-Piston Racing and Darton East. The plan is to DO WORK in 2017. #BUSLENGTHS2017 #BLACKHEART #KSTUNED

Why not go H23V Blue Top Jaime? 55mm mains 95mm stroke and a 10 lbs lighter crank

De stroked enlighten me? So you have a custom shorter H22 rod? H23? With a taller compression height piston?

Still baby boost beating that twin I got from you

95mm stroke is terrible for high RPM power and with a 85mm hot side, we need RPM to do it's thang. Custom rods and outlaw spec pistons.

I would agree with you on 95mm stroke on high RPM if the crank wasn't 10 lbs lighter... Older heavier H23A1 less stouter crank I would agree... but H23V is a nice piece it's younger and stronger brother

F20B crank weighs 36 lbs and my scale told me 33 lbs on my h23aV when I weighed it... give or take a lb....H23A1 weighs 38/39 lbs... From my records H22A Crank 50mm weighs 43 lbs and 55mm weighs 41 lbs

Couple questions
the Web rocker arms how do they stack up against a full roller? Is there any advantage with them or just mainly due to your cam choice
And also did u install a oil restrict in the big end of the rod? Curious as to what it is
Thanks
Amazing build and attention to detail

I have never done a comparison on the roller rockers, and for the Webb rockers, you are correct.
BME rods are pinned to help hold the bearing in place.
Thanks!

A little update, the trans is freshened up for the 2017 season, we switched to a billet housing hopefully this one hold up. A couple of new things happened to the trans this time around. Most obvious the billet housing, new ppg gear set with a 4.2 final, and last but not least, a input shaft sensor
