D-series tranny handcuff
I have been talkin to cncwerx for a while now about a D-series handcuff. it is a little more work than the B and H series cuffs since we can't find a bearing to fit the shafts so it will have a steel spacer to fit the bearings on the shaft. it can also be used for those with allmotor or lower hp to and be cheaper than putting a B-series tranny and clutch in your car and keep your tranny living for alot longer.

And you should be fine with moving the motor over, just position the radiator a little differently. It's totally worth it.
I never pre-loaded on a stock B-series trans with a Quaife, tons of 'full' boost launches on slicks and no carnage at all. The D gave me nothing but problems starting at 350 HP less than where I was.

Modding a charge pipe is no big deal especially if you're involved in a cuff for a trans lol

Re: D-series tranny handcuff
Soooo, CG trans. Then nothing has to change.... Over 60 passes, and about 20 of those making the big power, and stock axles. Zero issues. And you can add a b16/LS LSD diff.
But I guess to me, even having to change up the set up to make a trans that I know won't break, fit,. Isn't a big deal.

i got a few hundred hits under my belt with a d series tranny only running an mfactory LSD.
only thing ive broken is 2-3 axles. all 11-10 second passes.
dont count out the little d tranny yet!!
