Default 2-layer vs 3-layer hg... Cam timing?

I just swapped out my head gasket from a cometic 3 layer to a cometic minus the middle layer, so now it's a 2 layer.

Is there any calculation I can do to readjust the cam timing? The cams were degreed for the 3 layer so i think they should be retarded a little bit, just not sure if it would be a full degree, or more or less.

I'm trying to avoid degreeing the cams again, because with the mounts I have and a b series in a 91 hatch the wheel won't fit on the crank without hitting the body.

You already know they're off. I would do what it takes to fix it and get it retuned because of the bump in compression. Why did you take a layer out?

Did it for the bump in compression. Went from a Honda piston na setup to a wiseco piston nitrous setup and went 2 layer to get the compression I wanted for the spray.
It's not tuned yet so I could have to change the cam timing anyway, but when it was na they made best power at the Initial degree settings.
