Just a few small updates to make. We sent out another batch of products to get nickel plated so I tossed in an extra set of front knuckles and strut forks to see how they would turn out.
Really pleased with how it turned out and should match the rest of my front suspension components nicely.
Also ordered a Motec C125 dash display with the track package and that came in today. Cant wait to get this mounted up in the car!
Going to try and swing by the body shop Friday to check on the progress of the car. With this nice weather it really has me itching to get it back together so I can go racing.

Well like many builds, mine stalled for a couple months but the time has finally come! The body shop is completely finished with the car and I'm going on Thursday to pick it up. Then I'll be getting straight to work with putting the suspension on and getting the wrap on. Now that the car will be back in my possession I will be able to update this thread much more frequently. So stayed tuned because I'm trying to have this thing race ready by the beginning of September. Here's a few pictures I got with my iphone to give you guys some progress shots.

With the amount of work and detail going into the build, I didn't feel comfortable putting nasty 15 year old components back on the car. So the ones that didn't get replaced, I refurbished the best I could. I had the cradle sand blasted and then laid down some primer/rust protectant and resprayed it gloss black.
I also saved myself several hundred dollars by getting all the suspension bolts, nuts, washers, etc nickel plated instead of buying all new parts.
I got to the body shop a few hours later than I originally planned so I didn't have time to mount the brake calipers before they closed. The main goal was just to get the car on the ground and able to roll. Here's some quick shots I got in my hurried state, I'll be sure to post pictures when I get everything completely mounted.
Finally after months and months she is back on the ground!
My friend and co-worker, Stuart, is wasting no time and has already started the wrapping process!
Once he's done I'll be putting the engine/Trans/turbo setup in the car so I can fit the Franks front end 😁
