A couple pictures of the art work NRG-TECH did on the roll cage. They did an AWESOME job and I highly suggest have them do yours!

Hmmm..? I never was told by my local track that a cut off was needed and they are very strict.
From the 2017 NHRA rule book-
All batteries must be securely mounted; must be of sufficient capacity to start vehicle at any time. Batteries may not be relocated into the driver or passenger compartments. Rear firewall of .024-inch steel or .032-inch aluminum (including package tray) required when battery is relocated in trunk. In lieu of rear firewall, battery may be located in a sealed .024-inch steel, .032-inch aluminum, or NHRA-accepted poly box. If sealed box is used in lieu of rear firewall, box may not be used to secure battery and must be vented outside of body. Relocated battery(s) must be fastened to frame or frame structure with a minimum of two 3/8-inch-diameter bolts. OEM located batteries without complete OEM hold-down hardware must be secured to OEM battery box/tray using the same 3/8-inch-diameter bolt hold-down method described in previous sentence. (“J” hooks prohibited or must have open end welded shut.) Metal battery hold-down straps mandatory. Strapping tape prohibited. A maximum of two automobile batteries, or 150 pounds combined maximum weight

Nice build, how long has it taken from picking up the car to this point?
Was the the new engine just to push it further, or did you have a failure on the old one?

No failure, just wanted something new and stronger. Longevity is the goal

Re: 92 Civic EG Hatch. Beginingto current
Finally laid some paint down today. Here is the final outcome-
Paint is frost white. Pictures don't do my engine bay any justice by any means. Looks 10x better in person
It looks red because of poor lighting and the red cover I had over the car. Pictures do not do my bay justice at all
Frost white

Very nice. Im in the process of a similar build right now. I was wondering if its NHRA rule to keep the heater core and blower in the car. Was trying to go completely gutted but want to be sure before I slap the dash back on. Any advice as to keeping it track legal would be greatly appreciated. I think I've read that you need all the plastics from the front seat forward. Just started following you on insta.. TIA
