I drive a 93 Del Sol Si and the previous owner put some rather ugly aftermarket taillights on the car. Even though i am not to fond of them for the time being i am stuck with them. One is still nice and clear while the other has somehow gotten full of dust and dirt. I unbolted them from the car and they are sealed shut and i cannot find how the dirt made it in in the first place...

Has anyone one else had this problem or had any success cleaning out the insides of them?

My only idea would be to drill a hole in them and try and rinse it out, but that would leave water spots on the interior of the light, and they have clear exteriors so you would see the hole...

Stick the light in an over at 180 degrees for about 5-10 minutes, then pry off the lens. Clean the lens off, and reseal them in the oven using large rubber bands or clamps.
