Default 2012 Infiniti M37s (Obsidian Black)

I've been out of the game for a while completing my Computer Science & Engineering degree. But since that is now done, I am fully concentrating on detailing. Without further ado...

Completed a one-step correction and light interior cleaning on a 2012 Infiniti M37s last week.

Steps taken:

- Wheel faces and barrels cleaned
- Tires were sprayed down and scrubbed
- Wheel wells cleaned
- Completely washed
- Clay barred with Clay Magic Blue
- Paint Measurements completed
- Covered all exterior trim to protect while buffing
- One step paint correction
- Inspection with Halogen, LED and sunlight
- Washed again to remove and remaining polishing oils and dust
- Exterior trim was hand polished
- Exhaust tips polished
- Exterior protected with Blackfire Wet Diamond
- Leather seats cleaned
- Carpets and floor mats vacuumed
- Exterior and Interior windows cleaned

Products used:

CG's Citrus Wash
Clay Magic Blue Clay
Duragloss 901
Stoner's Tarminator
P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner
Leatherique Pristine Clean
P21S TAW
CarPro Eraser
Meguiars 205
Lake Country Flat White Pad
(Lake Country Cyan Pad was used below the gas lid where the owner tried to wipe up spilled gasoline.)
Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant
303 Aerospace Protectant
Optimum No Rinse
Stoner's Invisible Glass

History:

Vehicle had ~23k miles when I arrived. It had the typical washing swirls and it appeared to have some kind of sanding marks on a lot of the door panels.

Infiniti recently switched from their "self-healing" clear coat to "hard" clear coats. Which I am ok with, the self-healing paint is a pain to work with. I didn't have much time to complete the car so we decided to do a one-step correction and fortunately, the few test spots I tested, we achieved pretty good correction with the 205 and white LC pad.

I've come to the conclusion that I love the way Infiniti's sound.

Total time spent: 12hrs

This is why we call it DETAILing.

Here is my TL I did a few days a go.

What pad did you use with the M205? That thing looks awesome!
