My 1983 Civic Wagon
Here is my 83 wagon. I am the 3rd owner. I bought this off a buddy who got ot from the original owner. I put a little work into it and now it is my daily driver. 78xxx original miles, 5 spd, 1.5 liter. I really want to lower it a couple inches and put some wheels on it but I don't know what i'm gonna do yet.

Welcome to the wagon club! Yours looks awesome, can't believe it's in such great shape. 78k is ridiculous, I've got a full 100,000 miles more than you do right now!
Lowering won't be easy unfortunately, given the leaf springs in the rear. I'm looking for an easy solution for the front but have yet to come across one. Check out the 2nd gen group on facebook as a lot more stuff seems to come across there.
I would look at the VX wheels if you're willing to stay with 13's on there. I don't think they look good with 15s or over personally. Keep us updated with pictures and such!

Re: My 1983 Civic Wagon
I'm green with envy! Nice wagon and all gen II Hondas make excellent daily drivers.
Out here in the Austin, TX region, wagons are scarce as I've only seen a couple for sale over the years where one had a dubious title and the other, nothing to good to work with.
I do drive an '82 hatch 1.5 automatic which is nearing 190K. I also have '81 DX and '83 FE H/Bs both of which will be future projects.
I can see that most of you here are young guys judging from the "lowering" and such but when you get old and grumpy, higher is better!
Enjoy the wagon...
