Have you tested for power and ground at the Basslinks terminals?

I do not see any RCAs and you did say "I ran the Remote wire, Power, RCA wires and DB controller." what I see is both the front and rear speaker input plugs, [Universal Interface], is thew BassLink connected to a stock HU? 94

First thing I'd do is check your remote turn-on lead, where is it connected? Easy way to check is remove the remote wire from the basslink, run a short jumper wire from the BATT+ side of the basslink to the remote +, if she turns on.........check that first and post back what you find.

BTW, have you checked power and ground with a meter?

I'm not sure what you mean by checking the remote wire. I've read all the instructions and amp install tutorials. You connect the blue wire (remote) to the back of the head unit thats wire is blue and is labeled REMOTE. Thats what i did and nothing. I do need to check with a meter though, but i don't have one....ugh this is frustrating.

What type of deck do you have? it would be blue or blue/white IF its aftermarket, factory wiring on the Honda deck would not be the same, in fact the blue lead on a facory deck would be left speaker +. If it is aftermarket, some decks are blue for power antenna (no power on CD) and blue/white for amp turn on. Also, some Kenwood decks have a blue on the deck that doesnt function, only blue/white works.

As I mentioned, remove the remote wire at the basslink and run a jumper from + to the remote, if it turns on, remote wire issue.

On your HU, [Kenwood KDC-MP242] the amp control lead is blue/white, the blue lead is for power ant., it only works when radio is on, try the radio, if BassLink works you are useing the wrong lead, change it to the blue/white.

Also make sure your RCAs are plugged into the rear/sub output and that sub output is turned on and adjusted.

Do you not have the owners guide for your HU?

Pretty sure on the 242 the power ant lead isn't even powered. Some of the entry level kenwoods are like this.
