Python 524/Viper 5204 wiring questions, 95 Integra GSR
Hi guys,
I have a Python 524 which apparently is the same as Viper 5204 and Clifford 520.4X, and have some questions about installation into a 95 Integra GSR 3dr.
FYI: I have 2 530T's, one for windows and the other for sunroof. I also have a 520 battery backup and will install a trunk solenoid with relay and a hood pin switch. I probably will only use remote start as a novelty but at some point I will use the turbo timer. I also plan on buying a bit writer to program this.
My car is completely torn apart due to a rebuild project so I thought this would be the best time to put the alarm in. I've stealth installed many alarms in the past but that was a while ago and the technology has changed a little so please bare with me!
First question: What's the deal with the Flex Relay? I've read that in can supply either a (-) or (+) signal when needed. Is this just for remote start control? So I would just hook up the wires I need and not worry about it?

- Do I need this if I'm just lighting the parking lights? I assume this is if I'm lighting the blinkers?

As for the 530T's I was going to hook them up to the orange ground when armed output wire for close and the aux outputs to open.

i think if u hook up the channel 3 aux output u can program the alarm to close the window when armed, look in ur install manual for that i think its in the 2-11 in the programming instructions, says something about setting the channel aux output to output when armed, if u wire the orange wire i think it's gonna leave the window module on and possibly burn something out, if ur not sure then i recomend having a professional to do the work.

It's a GS-R so I assume a 5 speed, H2/9 DARK BLUE (-) 200mA STATUS OUTPUT - would be used for CIS over ride during remote start, unless starter lead(s) are connected after the cars starter relay.
Or you can use H2/3 BLUE/WHITE (-) 200mA 2ND STATUS /REAR DEFOGGER OUTPUT - 94

fcm. This alarm brain is picky. You have to use a relay to bypass the dei 520t trigger output to the alarm brain during remote start. Or the car will crank once and go full trigger if you try to remote start the car while armed. Also you have to use a relay to bypass the gwa orange wire too during remote start if your using that wire to control a kill switch. Or the car will not start.

naw. I was just updating ya. The blue wire from the 520t needs to be interupted during remote start. If not you will have to unlock the car to remote start. Or if you start the car armed. It will crank once and the alarm will go off. Same with the orange gwa. Its stays active during remote start.

OIC, but I know this, and it is a problem with the 520T, I have run into that on other then Viper/DEI alarms, or maybe it's the car on more then a few cars, the voltage drop to the 520T when cranking, [remote starting with alarm armed] triggers the 520T, [blue lead] and a relay controlled by the systems status lead has solved that problem.
Again I do not know if it is a problem with the 530T or some cars starting circuit, I don't think its the alarm/remote start as it happens with diff. brands of alarm/remote starts.
Either way, the OP will still have to connect the remote starts status lead to the CIS output for engine crank, unless he connects starter out, [H3/4 violet] to the cars starter relay output, the point I was trying to make. 94

The older 791 or 50.5x never had this issue. I talked to dei about this withen a few hours of getting the newer units in a few years ago. Its the way the new brain is made and picks up. They do not plan on fixing this as its cheaper to use a relay. I get messages about this all day long..smh. So its a lil heads up.
