Re: (sickofitall1113)
if you read the thread...
it explains how to do that...
keyless entry can be controlled by an alarm or a generic unit....
the wiring is exactly the same...
IMO, if you are going to go through the trouble of installing keyless, might as well install a simple alarm system....

Re: (sickofitall1113)
well a stealth install would be best, if you want to install an alarm system...
but if it is just keyless..
you just have to hook up the keyless unit to the correct wires..
and you don't have to hide the keyless control unit, cause it just controls the locks, and doesn't sound an alarm...
you can get all the wire colors from either you helms manual or the12volt.com

The door lock and unlock wires if you have power locks are found in a bundle under the dash behind the hood pop handle. Verify them with the voltmeter. on all hondas the door lock wiring runs along side the driver side kick panel...
all you have to do is tap into those wires...
its the same color throughout the interior...
if you don't have factory power locks, you have to add actuators...
stop being lazy and read the thread.
it teaches you how to correctly tap into a wire, make secure connections, and where to find locations to tap into.
then go onto the12volt.com and find the wire color chart for your car.. and follow that....

wait so are all those wires at the fuse box? or near it?
ok thanks. i somehow thought there would be a more straight forward like chart or picture with items circled kind of thing for this. im not trying to be lazy. just trying to make sure i have things in order before i cut the main ignition wire or something and have to take it somewhere with my head in the sand. thanks though.

near it, but the best place to tap into them imo, is along the driverside, under the carpet...
its around the fuse box because all the wires run to there...
i don't know too much about the integra, but your helms should tell you where all the wires run...

Here you go. Just make you you use a multimeter to test and verify all the wires.
12volts = white (+) ignition harness
Starter = black/white (+) ignition harness
Ignition= black/yellow (+) ignition harness
Power Lock = black/white (-) drivers kick panel
Power Unlock = black/red (-) drivers kick panel panel
Parking Lights= red/black (+) grn plug above fusebox
Door Trigger= lt. green/red ( - ) drivers kick panel
Dome Supervision = use door trigger
Trunk Trigger= green (-) blue plug above fuse box

Re: (sickofitall1113)
can you scan the booklet..
or tell us what the booklet says...
like what wire color does what on the unit..
that would help alot..
most of it is just matching the unit's wire with the oem wire..
but you also might need to know how to hook up the internal or external relay..
you can get that info on the12volt.com http://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/doorlocks.asp
http://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp
also read how relays work:

What is the make and model of the key-less entry you are adding to the car? 94
ACURA, INTEGRA, 1999, Power Lock
In the larger of two attached gray plugs in the lower kick near the firewall. If equipped with cruise control, the plugs are behind the module. To access, remove the lower bolt on the bracket holding the module and pull it up out of the way. The lock wires test only with the passenger lock and unlock switch.

ok well i just took everything apart and came to this conclusion. i can probably do it. but. i'll probably break something too. im just gonna take it somewhere i think. to make things more complicated i just remembered that when i got there car there was an aftermarket (i think) alarm in it, which malfunctioned and had to be removed because it kept locking my keys in the car. so theres connectors down there already that may or may not be the wires i want. so im gonna bite the bullet and take it somewhere. thanks for all your help though
