Jvc Cd player stopped working
I have had my JVC KD-S680 cd player in my '88 crx for a bit now but the memory doesn't work (clock resests, equalizer setting reset) so when I was pulling the cd player out to see what was causing this, the cd player turned off and won't turn back on. I re-wired every wire and it still won't come on....any suggestions??

Re: Jvc Cd player stopped working (newrexowner)
pull everything again
Find your 12v constant wire with a meter - verify 12.5 volts.
Wire the 12v constant wire to BOTH your 12v constant, and ign wire on the deck.
Try to turn it on.
WORKS ---- Turn it off. Your problem may be with your incoming ign wire - find the wire, verify 0v with key off, 12.5 with key on.
Does not work --- Check fuses inline and on deck - else, you've got another problem that's not wiring related.
