Which one do u guys think is the best out of the 3: CompuSTAR 2WSS-AS, Viper 780xv, or the clifford rs3. I think viper and clifford are the same responder but the brain might be diff. Does anyone have these and have had problems or good experiences? Any suggestions on another brand alarm with a pager better than these? Does anyone know how much monthly gps tracking is? Any help will be appriciated. Thanks

You should also consider the Autopage RF850 and the Prestige 996. Both models will give you better range than the DEI stuff but not as good as the Compustar. Reviews on the DEI stuff is fairly consistent (reliability, performance, support). I have had good experiences with Autopage and Prestige. Compustar has received mixed reviews - some love it some hate it. Personally....I'm considering the Autopage RF850. Check it out at autopageusa.com.

Or a Avantguard 5 To never get jacked, these are the ONLY Alarms that i would ever put on a car i would own.

I have been jacked with a Crimestoper Alarm.

I run both of these on my car, the Avantguard 5 to never get jacked and have the pager unit, to let me know when the alarm is going off.

If you going to be cheap and just go with a Viper 790 VX or the Many Knockoffs with the same remote. Get all the Sensors, Tilt, Glass, And Motion Sensor. That why if your car goes off you will know, never be like 1/3 of a mile a way, it can't really got 1/4 of a mile thats BS, unless your on a clear flataway.

Don't forget to make you own Fuel Cut off switch. Those are a must have, and you have your kill switchs run all the way around the car, to the back seat, it won't look nice if you have a striped car, but u can run it under the rug, and they theives with have a bitch of a time cut them all.

I have a 790 XV and it sucks. Additional remotes cost $125 each and you only get one from the start. I am on my third keypad, other 2 failed. This alarm is top rate ****. Stick with the reliable Viper 550. IMO

A 790 VX is just a 550 with a Remote, I have had mine for 7 months now, and i have yet to brake anything, i lost the antean thing, i just put black tape over it, and it helped my reception on the thing.

thanks for yall info, im prob gonna get either the viper/clifford/or python i hear they are all the same pagers but diff names. Im gonna get the tilt senosr, back-up siren, glass sensor. What else am i missing? can the antenna be hidden? and placement of it do u recommend? thanks

For Brand Viper 790VX on Ebay for like 250 which is cheap and free install is nice, u just got to get the extras don't forget the club and autolocker
