I recently attempted to install my Pioneer D1, I bought the harness, double din dash kit, and the antenna adapter. I tested the deck and the radio works fine, however when I try to play CDs no sound is coming out. Does anyone have any suggestion on why the radio works and the CD player doesnt?

what kind of car?? did you hookup the blue wire to the blue wire on the harness?? if so try swapping to the blue wire with the white stripe on the d1 plug

Its for a 07 honda element.

it's probably an amped or premium factory radio. take the blue wire with the white stripe from the pioneer plug, and wire that to the blue wire on the honda harness. this will turn on the factory amp at all times the pioneer unit is on.
