Re: (nsxxtreme)
Looks promising, but what about heater controls? And personally, I'd use a rollerball mouse
Btw, using silver wire for power is NOT a good idea.

Re: (misanthropist)
thanks, i havent done the heater controls yet, its going to be mounted in the glove box with a fiberglass cover i dont care if i dont have a functional glovebox.
LOL of course that is not the mouse im using, that was only temporary to make the program installs easier. The screen is touchscreen so i am not going to be using a mouse at all for day to day activities. For the keyboard im going to be using an on screen keyboard.
thanks again

Sure. It is commonplace for RED to be power and SILVER to be ground.
If you look at his picture again you would notice he has both silver AND red power cables which is asking for trouble. Imho it would be far too easy to mix things up and short something

I've never associated silver with ground... Black, maybe, but never silver...

it really dosnt matter what color wire you use. As long as you know what wire is what. I got black wire going from my fuse box to my batteries in the trunk and a green wire as my ground. It looks better then having a red wire going all the way back.
But good job with the computer. where did you get the computer from?

what did you use to mold that bezel to your dash?
have you hook up the sound yet? if so, any issues with distortion / alternator wine?
sweet setup, looks good
