1996 civic ex keyless entry problems. locks but trouble unlocking.
i have an enforcer alarm. i bought the car with this alarm.
the problem is that it locks on the first press of the lock button. however it's kind of difficult to unlock. i could stand there and press the unlock button 100s of times and it won't unlcok. if i hit the lock button first then the unlock button and do that a few times sometimes then it will unlock. or like if i just push a bunch of buttons at once it'll unlock. it's weird..
i've tried a new battery. same issues. i was thinking of trying a new remote. $20 for a new remote. would it be worth a shot? maybe the buttons inside my current remote are corroded or something?
what are some other things i should check? i'd like to have a working alarm/keyless entry. especially with the damned rain in washington.

i will eventually. but for now i'm just gonna fix this one.
and alarms seem to be real expensive and not necessarily in my budget at the moment.

well i just reprogrammed the remote and that fixed it. very easy fix.
