Default Amp question

This may sound stupid but this is my first time doing car audio installs...but anyway I ordered an amp that is 2/4 ohms and my speakers are just 4 ohms... Noq my question is will the amp automatically adjust the ohm setting? because at 2 ohms it puts out too much power for my speakers and at 4 ohms it puts out just the right amount. Thanks

If your speakers are 4ohm then the amp will run @ 4 ohm. The speakers are what determine the load.
