amp power light on amp is dim and blinking...what is the problem..can someone help me out please
well, i bought a ppi sedona(old school) series amp from my friend. it was working fine when he had it. we hooked it up and it was bumping for like a minute or so and then all of a sudden the amp just kinda shut off(no totally). the power light on the amp strated becoming very dim and blinking as if it was going to die. i checked the ground and the ground was alright. is this amp f**ked? do you guys know what the possible reason for this is..any help would be greatly appreciated

You gotta feed us a bone. More info:
-was it a 2/4/6 channel amp?
-what were you running with it.
-are you sure the ground is fine. did you test it with a meter?
-did you check the main fuse for a slow burn?
- does the amp smell 'cooked'?
Need more info.

-it's a 2 channel
-i was pushing (1)10inch w6
-the ground was fine
-Main fuse(are you talking about the one on the amp or the one that hooks up to the power wire?) checked both
-the amp doesn't smell burnt at all
we took off the cover and it looked fine(not sure though but nothing looked broken or burnt) but i do not know why it is doing this. it seems like there is not enough power going to it. i hooked up another amp to the connections and it worked fine. i'm thinking something might be wrong with how the amp receives its power supply.but i don't know what. maybe the amp is just messed up
