Alpine Mbus Interface to Honda Radios
Hi from Spain:
I have got a Radio-Cassete OEM from a Honda S2000 (year 2000 but radio
model probably from 1999) to put it inside of my CRX 1991.
From the back view it has a female connector -8 pines, 1 in the center and 7 around this- to connect a CD Charger HONDA.
I have tried to connect a MBUS Alpine male connector to connect an IPOD through this interface:
http://cgi.ebay.es/CABLE-AUXIL...sting
The same that use from a CD charger Alpine ..... but was not possible. The MBUS connector is very similar, but not fit exactly to the female connector on the back.
Some pics of my Radio-Cassette.
I have seen some items (adapter-interface) to resolve the problem, how is related here:

http://peripheralelectronics.c...arch=
http://www.installer.com/item/...cualp
http://rtgrim.com/store/acualp.html
http://www.discountcarstereo.c...D=628
Can you help me? Is this the interface that I need to connect a MBUS Changer Alpine (or a MBUS Alpine Interface to Ipod) with MBUS connector to my radio-Cassette?
Very grateful.
Pd. Sorry, my english is very bad.

Re: Alpine Mbus Interface to Honda Radios (IVTEC36)
In a word, yes, but why not just get the Honda changer port iPod adapter?
The only diff. between the Alpine "Mbus" CD port and the Honda/Acura 8pin CD port, other then the obvious pin configuration, is the signal return, [ground] and the right signal are switched, if the Alpine changer plug is forced into the Honda CD port, the changer will work, however, the left and right channels will be out of phase. 94

Thank you very much. I will receive the converter 8 Pins Honda to 8 Pins Alpine MBUS in a few days (18 US Dolars). And I have received the IPOD adaptor to M Bus (20 US Dolars) from tihis seller:

If this combination is functionally, all will be 38 Dolars....
I will keep you updated.
