alarm question---noob
well let see, i have a 99 civic ex. i cant shut off my alarm with my remote, i had the car sitting there for about 2months because the motor was blown and now the alarm is messed up. the remote has brand new batteries. wat can it be, and how can i fix it? not sure the alarm brand just came with the car. i can turn it off by fliping the alarm switch in the car, but i want my alarm to work lol. please help if u can thanks.

If you can turn it off by flipping a switch you are in trouble. We need to know the make and brand of the alarm. pics of the remote can help
