I need some help. My girlfriend bought a 93 Acura Vigor About 3 months ago from a used car dealer (not acura). It did't come with any remoted for a alarm (and they did't have any for it, we asked) but it has one. When we unlocked the door from the inside the horn started honking and the car wont start. I called the acura dealership and they said that the vigor did not have a alarm as an option. I looked under the dash everywhere and i cant find anything, I did find the stock keyless door lock box so i disconected it and the horn was still honking, so rite now im kind of lost. Is there a Hidden place on a vigor that a alarm would be other than other the dash? The car is a sitting at Wendeys so i need to get it out of there soon. Thanks in advanced

Update, I dissconected the factory alarm, this stoped the horn, but it still wont start, i am looking for a wiring diagram so i can tell whick wire is what. Im guessing that there is a relay or something that is a starter killer. (i seen in a book at auto zone the 93 accords have a starter kill thing in it, but i did't know if the wires are the same, they dont have a vigor book). anyways is there something i choud be looking for? I can see where ther was at one point a aftermarket alarm or remote starter because there are wires that were cut and put back. Thanks for the help!

Put your master key in the driver's side door and turn the key counterclockwise or clockwise it will reset the alarm and disarm it.

If you do not have the remote to the factory alarm, then any time you lock the door with the key on the driver's side door it will arm the factory alarm. You will see the led light up when it is arm on the driver's side lock.
