speakers for 92 civic hatch?
what sounds decent? i'm not looking to spend a grip, but i have an alpine cda-9831.. my fronts are 6" and my rears are 5 1/4" i was thinking of 2 ways in the front and 3 ways in the back? is that a good idea??

no, bad idea. you will have poor imaging. i have a cda-7998 on 3 way and use 2 way in the front, a mid bass driver in the back plus a sub. i have the time delay at around 2.1 ms... imaging places the sound spot right around the center of the dash at the base of the windshield.

2 way or component in the front; a mid driver or another 2 way that is not as bright in the back; 12 inch sub should sound just fine. its all in the tuning and quality of components. if you are using pyramid or pyle...umm....
