I have a 2002 Accord EX-L with the 6-disc and tape player that i was using a belkin tape with a built in aux cable for my iTouch. after going through two of them because of horrible quality and issues with the fade I'm left with no choice but to get an aftermarket head unit with an AUX input.

I'm going to buy through Crutchfield but it seems as if alot of the aftermarket head units out there wont let you control the selected music through the iTouch itself, only through the face of the audio unit. that seems somewhat inconvient.

Any recommendations on which aftermarket headunits I can use that allow me to control my music selections through the iTouch itself?

Just use a regular line-in instead of USB.

IIRC, kenwoods have an unlock option in the menu for iPod control so you can unlock the touch

thanks for the responses guys. i bought an Alpine CDE121 and an aux cable so i guess that's my answer.
